    I need your mp3 cds!!!

Well, I just got my rio 250 mp3 cd player, and still dragging along on a dial up. So, if you've got some time on your hands, I'll pay you 5 bucks per cd plus shipping.

    Thanks!
    Adam

uh ok, that is SO illegal. AT&T is offering a deal on a broadband connection; the first 3 months are free. Save yourself some money and upgrade your interenet connection.

        Sunny -

I'm paying 5 bucks for the cd; the content on the cd is considered a bonus, or gift, from the seller--although I will not accept any "gifts" which contain non-mp3 content.

Go to MP3.com and download a ripping program. Take whatever music you have on CD, Rip it to your hard drive, so you can transfer it to your MP3 Player.

Just get broadband and your music woes will be over. The att deal sounds good but after the 3 months the price shoots up to $50 maybe? Try for cable. Everyone in the house can run off of one connection. What do you pay now $20/month + the extra phone line? Its well worth it in the end. Don't even ask me how much techno I have in mp3's and .wav's. Not to mention music mp3's.

broadband and cable are the same. If he has cable right now, the monthly fee will be like $30; cheaper than AOL and the second phone line he probably has.
Back to my original comment, I was just kidding. Technically, owning MP3s from a copy written band is illegal, somehow.

sorry bout that, but you're message seemed to contradict yourself as you said "broadband is exspensive so try for cable". Yeah, DSL is an option, but the bit rate decreases the farther away you are from the sending station. So it's only good if you live in the city. If you're out in the boon docks or suburbs, it sucks.

I believe it is AT&T Roadrunner Cable. Cable and DSL are both broadband though.

What speed are you burning at? Some CD players dont like discs burned above 2X-4X. Could be crappy media too, what brand of CDs do you use (I use Memorex black CD-Rs and they work great in my rio 250).

How much ram do you have?? Also, my old cpu used to do that too. I got a faster chip and more ram and it stopped. You probably are burning too fast for it to keep up. Try using Nero to burn too. Nero shows the buffer and you will know if you are going too fast.
