    Kerry announces wrong VP candidate!!!!!

    This is not going to go political.

    Its more about the mistakes of the press. Because of this snaffu today of the New York Post (I think it was) it got me to thinking and so did a lot of news agencies off some of the cool mistakes over the years by Press trying to get the scoop and caring less for verifying facts before they print stuff. Thats the intention of this...

    One comedian I saw made the joke about the issue today that is the title now. But obviously its a joke. but what others were there that you can think of. Seems the post thought they had a scoop on the announcement and ended up WRONG. Gephart was not chosen. Edwards was.

    So far I seen the mention of Dewy beating Truman, Bob hopes death (before the real one)

    Anyone think of any more?

      Ah but that was wrong too. It was not Sen. Edwards, it is John Edwards from Crossing Over. He is going to use his gift to channel FDR and make Kerry a better president!

          Didnt some news agencies announce that Martha Stewart was found not guilty?

          Also I remember a lot of misinformation/rumors that were reported as news during the aftermath of 9/11 and the early days of the Iraq War.

                      Well we could.... but in thier case its not realy that they just try and out scoop someone. They do it intentionaly. So.... no not tabloid stuff.

                                  The whole Bush/Gore thing in 2000 got quit interesting....

                                  I remember watching one channel announcing that Bush had won Flroida for sure....flipped channels and Gore was the next president of the United States. Man, did we not know what we were in for for the next few months.
