    Automags Online Aeronautics and Space Administration (pics&vid, 56k beware)

    Well, another AO'er *cough*notsarah*cough* and I were bored again today...

    And thus the, the AO ASA was born.

    Sitting on said AOer's deck, we crafted a high tolerance, carefully engineered cigar tube into a state-of-the-art model rocket, appropriately nicknamed Challenged 1.




    Say hello to Chuck!

    After this ingenius piece of work was complete, we discovered that we needed a launch pad of some sort. This picture is from the classified folder, as you can see.


    Well, those AOL CD's come in handy...

    We drove out to Montana De Oro, a rocky shore beach pretty close to our little town. Our first planned debris field is below-- However, the beach tourists foiled our plans.



    So, we drove back into town, and settled on the local Jr. High soccer field. A large expanse of green grass, with no one around.

      it still somehow feels dirty.
      As society and the problems that face it become more and more complex and machines become more and more intelligent, people will let machines make more of their decisions for them, simply because machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-made ones. Eventually a stage may be reached at which the decisions necessary to keep the system running will be so complex that human beings will be incapable of making them intelligently. At that stage the machines will be in effective control. People won't be able to just turn the machines off, because they will be so dependent on them that turning them off would amount to suicide

      sometimes I just freaking hate people. which means the next day I will love them for the sake of balance, but right now I will just concentrate on the hating. Hate hate hate. Blaaaarg! ;)

      turborev - with ai like this, if it controlled any more than a paddle, it would kill you and everyone you care about. ;)

              It says no GASOLINE powered models.

              The third video is actually the first one we took, so we had NO clue if it was going to work. And our "launch bunker" was Target Practice's tiny bag...
              Such a sham(e).
