Start right now, stocking up on diapers and formula (if she is not going to nurse all the time), that's the most expense you'll run into. Be sure to add him/her to your insurance the day AFTER the birth.
...And bring the nurses some flowers too, they do a lot of these!

congrats to you. As a father of twin 5 year old boys all i can tell you is be patient. Treat them as you would want to be treated. Always learn from your mistakes, you will have some but, grow from it. And always keep in mind they are very small,very young and they WILL learn from you, be it good or bad. Spend as much time with them as possible, it gets more and more amazing as time goes on.BEZERKERS

I told my wife I'd pay her $5.00 for each diaper she changes. If she ever tries to collect, I'm screwed!
Big rule #1, family first. Then paintball, bills, work, cars, etc (in that order)! Get more bottles than you think you'll ever need (20+ for one child). Last thing you want to do is wake up in the middle of the night and find you are out of clean ones. I've been there (or at least my wife has!)

Unless it's bunker ball in which case I am painting a bunker so a newbie can earn his "surrender stripes". Nothing like seeing a lil kid surrender someone with an electro or cocker.
