i cant wait for ozzfest tomara...

i want to see the norweigen death metal band Dimmu Borgir...i have been listenin to em alot lately


but this is gonna be fun..i cant wait to see it sober (wonders if it will be the same)

I am not certain by any means , but it seems like it cancelled its date here? Could be wrong.....

The last of those type concerts I went to were Lollapallooza , the first several , and the Hordefest. I had such an awesome time. Made a few of the Monsters of Rock concerts too.......those were the days

i usually go to see ozzy, korn... sometimes i see other regualr rock bands...rarely


last year i got back stage passes

this year not as lucky (has tickets though)

ours is the first show...

I was gonna catch the 'Fest in Nashville (home) this year (July 22nd)..BUT ( ) that's the same day I'm flying down to Orlando for my dad's wedding..DAMN YOU DAD!

I'm goin to the one in Tampa. Goin mainley to see Sabbath, Devildriver, Slipknot, Hatebreed, and BLS but I like almost all the bands there this year.

I just wish Manson was gonna be there

i would consider going to ozzfest solely for the second stage. what a lineup. throwdown, bleeding through, every time i die, lamb of god, darkest hour, atreyu. its too bad tickets are 50 freaking bucks. i would actually go.

Boondock Saints is a great movie and thus Bleeding through is a great band.

attention everyone going to ozzfest, here are the only bands playing (well, that matter anyways )

dimmu f-ing borgir
slayer
slipknot
hatebreed
lamb of god
atreyu

as far as Im concerned, no other bands are playing this concert. shamelessly, I paid around $90 for a ticket (I would like to thank ticketmaster, for which without them, that price would not be possible)

hope everyone has a good time. if anyone from MA is going, you should see me in the pit for dimmu, and around the pit 2nd stage for most of the day

heres my review of ozzfest

Second stage: (reviews of the ones i saw)
Every time i die - They rocked...they had some good stuff going..they are not one of my fav bands..but they did great...

Lacuna Coil - again not one of my favs...they did ok for a live performance....vocals werent to great..

i then excused myself to go check out the booths and hang with some of my friends..

i came back for

Hatebreed - they got the best base of fans here in their state..not a big fan but i like em....i got to talk to em after they finished (freinds a sound guy, good ppl ) they did great though got the crowd wild...we had tons of mosh pits going from the front to the back...dust and dirt was every where there...i got a couple small cuts cause i was more near the front,,,

i missed slipknot even though they are a great band i went to talk with the guys from hatebreed


Main Stage:

BLS - AWESOME...i cant even say how great they were...his voice wasnt as what it normally is..but hey....the CT chapter of BLS was there and you could tell who they were cause they had leather jackets on in that heat...

Superjoint Ritual - i knew these guys toked it up alot...but they were prety high on stage..and the fans were giving em more weed..i was down in front with some freind who were smokin it...and they gave some of theirs up...but they really werent that great...way too baked

Dimmu Borgir - they layed it down..doing some stuff in english...and some stuff i couldnt reconize (could of been english) the lead singers voice is very warped on their albums so it was a prob onstage...but they did very well

Slayer - slayer had the fans going...the best mosh pits happened with themm..i got two more cuts and crowd surfer...they got many bottles thrown on stage...they rocked...but there were some sound problems...couldnt really tell since i was right up in front...many women took off there tops for them

Judas Priest...they had one of the best shows there...they got the crowd really goin...more than slayer...they put out all of there classics...had the fans sing along once and awhile...they got some of the best responses from the fans at a concert..sounded well but its not like there albums. (but what live artists shows are)

Black Sabbath - AWESOME...just in awe seeing that...i love them...tommy was rippin that guitar..and you could here every note perfectly...ozzy had too much fun up there..he was doing frog hops with the mic stand supporting him..he scurried around onstage...i mean..ppl went crazy..and it sounded like they do on albums...sounds just like he did back when paranoid came out...they rock..they did one of the best shows i have seen in a LOOOOOONNNNNNNNNG time



as for fun..hit the mosh pit on the second stage...its awesome..especially when your in that persons home state...

bottle fights when on..they dont leave the caps on any more..a cap on a full bottle becomes a bomb...


every thing there is priceir than last year....i spent 200 just on food..and about 200 more on other stuff

i had a great time its awesome...

btw...ozzy will prolly moon you..his bum is very white
