Well today i was playing digital paintball. It keep freezign screens than skipping and being really stupid. I am always the last one to load up into a room when we change maps. I need to know how to fix this, and if you need info on my computer, tell me how to get it. I am a computer newb. BTW i have dsl so internet is not a problem.

What are the specs of your comp, and what kind of graphics card do you have? -
control panel -> network and internet options -> internet options -> settings -> veiw files....then delete all that crap
i do alot of online gaming and this seems to help when i start lagging too badComment

Your lack of ram would be one reason why. I remember reading somewhere that minimum amount to run windows XP alone was already 256MB. Go and get yourself some more ram, Newegg.com has it for cheap.
As for your graphics card, check under control panel->System->hardware->device manager->display
Where did you get the comp, and was it prebuilt, like dell or compairable type?Comment

I have an SiS 650
I think before it said minimum requirement of RAM was like 64 or something.

it is 64, i have an old desktop that barely runs with xp on it, and its only got 64mb of ram.

get 512 RAM.
Use adaware to destroy all nasty spyware taking up space and reading your passwords.
Go to disk cleanup and run disk cleanup, delete everything in those folders. Then go to disk fragmentation, and defrag your pooter.
Then keep your computer clean and in order.

you do need more ram as stated
also try defragging
if you dont mind the loss of quality go to your video card settings and change them to

more solutions:
a) more ram
b) your vid card is on board...that is awful...what that means is it uses some of your memroy so if its a 64 meg vid card, it uses 64 megs of your 128meg ram chip for vid storage, get a real vid card
c) close all programs when running DPB
