ok..so i reformatted..and now my compy is being even weirder..just one quick problem

so i leave my compy on over night to download stuff. without fail, every time i wake up in the morning, my computer SOUNDS like it's on, appears to be on, but the monitor has the power save screen on, and there's no way to get the monitor to turn on. wtf?! all power save options are turned off as far as i can tell, so i'm really confused as to why this is happening.

    helllppppp?

your video card might be screwed up. it could also be the monitor. if you have access to another monitor try using it for a while and see if that fixes it. if you know how to swap video cards try to do that and see if that fixes it.

Does the Light change when you press the num lock button?
Have you tried to unplug the power for your monitor and then pluging it back in?
      What are you system temperatures?
      System specs?

Install latest motherboard/chipset drivers... see if that helps - you might be using whatever is packaged with Windows, perhaps generic drivers. Double check bios power settings.
