Acts of God usually means something like, "I was caught out in a flood, and right before I went under, I got struck by lightning twice, and now my smartmedia card on my digital camera doesn't work anymore."Originally posted by SuiciDal Sn Y p ERso does this mean that whatever happens to my camera it won't be covered?
It means that if something happens to it that breaks it, it isn't covered, but if it just breaks (without floods, earthquakes, locusts, frogs, seas turning to blood, etc) then it is covered. -

Surely if you have adopted the philosophy of determinism and/or the beliefs of Pierre Laplace then you believe that everything in the universe is predetermined, so anything man does, directly or indirectly is an act of god, meaning you're not covered for anything.
I guess you could try to invent time travel.Comment
