    Mountain/trail biking

Just got a new Trek 4900 mountain bike and I couldn't be happier with it. A huge jump in quality from my old GT Agressor. Any of you guys like mountain biking?

    I'll have pictures later.

        Hey man,
I've got the same bike! Rock on man!
I love mine, its not top of the line or anything, but its more than I need.
You might as well take the reflectors off right now because they are going to fall off. (The ones on the wheels and on the peddles.. nevermind I just looked at the new 4900 and they dont put reflectors on the wheels anymore.
        Here's my 4900

BTW those who are wondering thats a '66 mustang in the background, on sale!

Nice bike. I have a Trek 4100. I haven't been biking since last summer. The lack of singletrack is driving me crazy. I hope to get out this weekend or the next. I'm going to college in a month, so I'm suspecting there will be many biking opportunities.

Edit: Personman, no disc brakes? How could you live without them? Nice color, btw.

I just spent 4 hours on it, gave it a real beating too. I LOVE IT. Man, I couldn't be happier.

Not to be mean, but i can catch a few flaws with that KONA.

I manage. I dont do a whole lot of biking, just scout stuff and occasionally with my friends.
I like the color too, the only other option back then was midnight blue or something, which was like black with blue 'stripes' I diddnt like it as much. Plus, YELLOW ROCKS!

I have a '85 (?) GIANT Iguana, red with yellow bits. I bought it the summer the first Batman movie came out, whenever that was.
I delivered newspapers on it. Several days a week I'd ride it 15 miles round-trip to HS school and back. Then I rode it 10 miles round-trip fro college.
Now it just sits in my garage.

                        Nice bike

It seems that everyone is going with disc brakes now, but if you bend the disc (probably something I would encounter) in rough stuff your bike isn't going anywhere.

i've tried bending the discs before, it's not gonna happen without an act of god.
