Now this is a classy way to welcome back our soldiers!

I just read this on CNN and thought it was really classy!

    Welcome home!

That is really a great thing to do. It would suck to be the last 2 people though, it makes you look like you didn't jump at the chance of giving them a seat. You have to ask yourself though, would I do it?

I would give my seat up in a heartbeat, I mean they just got back from a long tour in Iraq, anyone who wouldn't give up their seat is un patriotic.

its nice to see that someone does care. Amid all the storys of protest and anti-war, its nice to see someone who is simply decent and kind.

Well you can support the troops but not the war. I know this because I'm one of them. Before people start saying it isn't possible I'll explain. I want the soldiers to be safe and come home all alive and well but I don't like the reason they are there. Now I'll agree that this is a great story. Maybe someone will do that for my brother later this year when he takes his R&R from Afghanistan.
                Sorry, I'm old

yea, and its nice to see that. Alot of decent people and their actions, regardless of their opinions, are overshadowed by the rudeness of others. Regardless of wether or not someone thinks soldiers should be doing what they are, they deserve respect.
