    Bush / Kerry Bloodline....

Found this on a site that digs up records of your family tree, so who knows how true this could be... intriguing if it is. Same site claims the actor Tom Hanks is a descendant of President Abraham Lincoln.

        What makes you think?

I think it's interesting that Kerry's family wasn't too wealthy, that it was his aunt or grandma that paid to send him to bording school etc. Bush was born wealthy. Kerry was part of the college newspaper staff, debate team, and was active in other political groups. Bush was in a fraternity and not in any political groups in college. Kerry went to Vietnam. Bush was in the guards. Which one sounds like they are more qualified to be president?

Meh, there's enough seperation in the bloolines. They could marry.

Honestly if records went back far enough I'm probably related to somebody important. hrm. I wonder if I could hit them up for money.

You know heat, your'e right. I'd definetly pink Bush, considering he showed almost no interest in politics whatsoever in college. And seriously, who cares that Kerry served in Vietnam and saved a mans life? Vietnam vets are way overrated anyways. The gaurds are where its at, especially when you skip out on that too! Oh well, one little boy can't match the power behind the conservative propoganda machine. If you need me, I'll be sitting in a corner with a pistol waiting for one of those darn Iranians, because evidentally they're the cause of 9/11. And so is Iraq. And so are the airlines. And so is the CIA. And so are those pesky drug dealers. Good thing we have Bush on our side to crush all those thugs trying to kill us with their thuggish WMD's because they are thugs, and we are the US.

Yeah its not too suprising to think that if we looked back far enough that we could trace relatives to pretty much anyone we want.

edit: and what makes him less apt to be the President just because he was in the National Gaurd?

If you selectively pick parts of a mans history you can draw such parrelels, advertising does so quite well. For instance, this war that was a mistake - didn't Kerry vote for it? Didn't Kerry support Clintons bombings of Iraq... oh btw, Im not actually trying tp attack, just making a point.

You have to judge based on who you think can deal with current situations... sure you base it some on the past, but you surely don't base it on the rhetoric of a single candidate.

I personally think the Libertarian party holds the highest ideals of the Constiution, and need to be the future of the country. However, I don't feel comfortable with there ability to handle current situations, should one get elected by chance.

Please note.. I am not trying to tell anyone what is right or wrong, and do nto take this as an endorsement of any single candidate, I am just trying to point out a flaw in reasoning.
