From what I understand, and realize that I'm no doctor, this is actually one of the best ways to get Lypo.Originally posted by slateman
Bacially you never get rid of fat cells, but when you loose weight they shrink. So when you're really fit they're shrunk down to thier smallest. Then you get lypo, they're gone and you stay trim and fit.

When I was in the Marines no matter how much I ran or how much I did sit-ups/crunches I couldnt get rid of some of the "flab" along my stomach ... it was pretty bad, I didnt look to be the most fit person, but I could knock out my PFT and formation runs without a problem.

When you send the doctors to the bad places, they tend to leave the army the first chance they get. I didn't read the CNN article - I had just finished reading something similar about it the New Yorker. I have to agree with the author there, though: is breast implant surgery really practice for post-combat reconstruction?
But I don't really have problem with it. People in the army deserve some perks. I don't know if I'd go so far as the Canadian Army did, though. We paid for a sex-change.
