Yea the two songs are Numb and Pushing Me Away. It seems like Pushing Me Away is slowed down significantly though. Very cool it took me awhile to figure out how many songs were playing. When I stand at the back of the room it sounds like one song is playing.

I have noticed they have roughly the same feel to them....but A LOT of bands do.... It's their style. Its not like they are Kid Rock who switches from rap to country to rock to whatever every other song. It is funny that both songs "intro" part of the song end at the same time tho. But then again, I'm srue whoever made this looked for the two songs that sounded the exact closest.

Yes I am a fan of LP, theyre up there with my favorite bands. But still, think about it, listen to some other bands and you WILL notice patterns.

I also believe Captain Jack makes a good point.

Not accurate, one of the songs is edited; Faster (I checked), as well as a few snips copyed and repasted....

        Funny though..

        Unicorns are people too ...
Old Narhwals are people too ...
Grizzly Bears are people too ...
        Caterpillars are people too ...

          Wrong.

Pretty much any new popular band is some crappy manufactured trash created by the music industry to generate more dollars from stupid kids.

Linkin park being one of them.

You think these guys in linkin park were just jammin' like this in their garage? Didnt think so

I just can't stand how whiney they sound, like a bunch of cry babies. It really grates on my nerves for some reason. I love the Cure though, and they whine a lot. Go figure... Guess it's all just personal taste. I sure can't hate 'em though, even though I can't stomach their music. They're makin' MONEY!!!

SniperSmurf, the Cure is amazing. Not liking them would be an insult to music.

real music is found in cheap shows.
That's funny cause the first time I met and heard LP play it was at a $10 Kottonmouth Kings show (5 days prior to first cd release). They do what they do. Can't save or please everyone in the world. Their music is Rock. Alternative Rock has left the market YEARS ago. It, like the times, changed. People used to like 80's rock but now-a-days if you listen to that people say..."ick why you listen to that crap." I just say. Shut up fool you were jammin to this in school so shut up.

Of course they're all the same! That's what makes them so GOOD!

None of this "trying to be different" nonsense that causes the beasties to put out a good album, a bad one, a terrible one, a great one, and so on. It's just always the same!

                    BRILLIANT!!!!
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

This is total crap... the music has been changed to make them sound the same...

so if you go and do this ti ANY groups songs, they will all sound the same... this is yet another crap thread.

Seriously though, people put to much emphasis on where a band came from as opposed to what they play. I've spent thousands of my dollars on $10 shows and you wanna know what, maybe half of those bands were any good. 50% of the time I left feeling I wasted $10 and now it's 3am and I wasted a perfectly good night. However, I've equaly spent thousands of dollars on major concerts by supposed "manufactured" bands(of which LP is not)...and you wanna know what? I've never left a major concert feeling like my money was wasted. Bands may get popular because of an image, but they rarely stay popular if they suck. I swear, if I go to another $10 concert and the guy on stage complains about "Corporate rock", I'm gonna pistolwhip him and then yell at him because the only reason he's complaining is because he sucks too much at song writing/musicianship/stagemanship to get a break. Sorry folks, nobody wants to pay $15 for a CD of some college kid who sucks at guitar and doesn't understand the basics of writing a good song.

If you listen to Linkin Park today, and 5 years ago, the sound is similar if not the same because the band is the same. If you want every single damn song to be a new sound, buy 15 different singles from 15 different bands.

This whole "BOO MANUFACTURED!" mentality is retarded. Infact, alot of it links back to the whole "Corporations are evil" mentality. Both are dumber than a bag of hammers. If you think Corporations are ruining music, your wrong. Emo and whinypunk bands are.

I hate Emo so very badly.. its the new trend. Even bi-sexuality is a trend because the 'Punk' bads are (some). All you trashy 'retro-punks' can cram it with walnuts, your not original, your not the first group of ****s to like older music. An example of total sheep-ness:
In my town, we didnt hear about jackass all that early. In fact, I was one of the first people in my school to have seen the show. So when I told them about it the next day I was shunned; 'Jackass, that sounds friggin stupid thats probably like gay show!', and some other completely idiotic comments (Even though jackass IS quite moronic). So one of my friends comes over and we watch the show. Hes hooked, so he tell them at school again the next day. The difference being, he is very popular.

The next week I get some *** hat telling me he's the biggest fan, watching it from the beggining and all...

And then I am saddened almost to tears at the fact I was born in this generation... 10 years ago, I would have a much easier life..

Yeah, this kinda brings me to a point that may be off topic but here I go anyways.

It seems as tho certain people are trying to be so different they end up liking things they wouldn't in the first place. "Oh, I hate society so I'm gonna listen to a bunch of screaming idiots on drugs who have no idea what they are even signing in the first place...even tho they suck."

That's the mentallity of some people and its STUPID. I'm not trying to say that we should all go and be the same or be called commies like it was in the 60's , but if somethings good, don't be afraid to like it if everyone else does to. Chances are if people like it, its because it IS good.

I also find it funny that people will only listen to one genre of music and will not accept any others. Personally I mostly listen to country and rock...but I will listen to a few rap songs and R&B and other genres every once in a while. It's so stupid how other people just can't accept anything other than THEIR music. Once I even heard from a kid "I just dont see how they can clal this music" while I was in the weightroom lifting and listening to country music. I near knocked that kid on his for that. Maybe if people would listen to genres outside of their own once in a while, they would be able to accept them.

Point being, don't go shunning something that is good because you want to be different and everyone else likes it.

one of the songs is definitely slowed down... Numb... its so distorted that the voices are noticibly deeper...

overall i kinda liked the track....
