I was kidding when I made the post whore thread... All my posts that day were in the tech forum, and actually did answer questions and contribute to things. Just before anyone starts pointing fingers

Even Pyro, who has a bazillion posts, posts useful info 90% of the time.

Its the people who have piles of useless posts who are the true postwhores.

A good way to check postwhoreing can also be to check posts per day. Anything over 6 posts per day is probably post whoring. The higher the posts per day, the more they post a day, and the less likely it is everything they say is useful.

I think it happen quite a bit. The only time it bothers me is when the people posting nonsence have huge sigs and lots of pictures so it takes forever to look through to good info.
