AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Video editing I dont have much experiance with,
but Flash on the other hand I am a master of. I was trained with Flash a few years ago. If you can find the program I will design a tutorial for you, as I dont have the program any more.
pretty flash is alot harder then it looks. Also notice that in the tutorials below he already made the library. So when you go to do it you will want to have a good draw program (ie Adobe photo shop, jasc paintshop)
Other then that, if you get good at it ... teach me cause it's kicking my butt right now.
flash isn't all that hard, just a little tricky at times. Some of the things you gotta do in certain orders for it to work correctly.
As soon as school starts back up my old web design professor should have his page back up with flash help. It's got some basic video tutorials.
We had to make a flash thing for our final project in there, we were supposed to make something to do with our "great experience in web design this semester." And since I never went to class I made this: http://web.umr.edu/%7Esjjgfd/web_des...t8/assign8.htm (you have to click the arrow buttons to go to next part in some places, i had to do that for part of the grade)
It took me probably 6-8 hours straight working on it from scratch including "What the #&*#$*! am i gonna do ??" time, one of those procrastinator jobs :) Of course it was my very first actual flash thing so I started out knowing nothing. Ended up getting best flash project of the semester :) I was going to make it really lame just so I'd get it done but after making the 1st scene with the crappy bird n stuff I really started to get into it. One of the first times ever i really "got into" a homework assignment.
All the drawings n stuff were done in Flash, it's pretty forgiving for bad drawers. It smooths out a lot of lines n such. (I colored outside the lines on most of the things just to give it that cartoony look).
anybody have the name of a video editor program?
I just want to do simple stuff like cut parts out and put titles in, I imagine, it can't be too hard.
Thanks
I think i am going to wait on learing flash, until i get video editing down, cuz my friends and I video tape alot of stuff and it would be cool to edit it.
