Ya there are quite a few old hemp farms around here and there are always huge areas grown over with it around the barns where they used to strip it at. If its just hemp i wouldnt worry about callin the cops just let the fools that try and smoke it learn the hard way cuz all they will get is a headache. :)

The funny thing is I believe Ventura passed legislation making it legal to sell grown hemp. But it might still be illegal to GROW without a permit. And I bet they don't even have laws for getting the permits. So if you can grow it without getting bothered by the police you can legally sell it.

Ditchweed just call the polic/fire dept., unless you want to try and fool those dumb enough to buy.

Pics as promised. My dad went out and chopped all of the CRP down, so I don't have any pics of that. The side of the drainage ditch (pic one) is about 3/4 giant ragweed and 1/4 hemp, you can't really tell from the pics but it's in there. Just as a comparison, giant ragweed generally grows to about 8 ft tall, and about 50% of the hemp was just as tall.
