That's awful... I don't like or respect people who steal, and no matter what you say, downloading illegal copies over the internet is just as bad as swiping the game off the shelf.

Wish I could play Doom 3 but this computer was outdated quite a while ago... I think the "best" game this PC can handle well is something like Wolfenstein (the newer one). I guess I'll just wait for the dulled down XBOX version to come out. Have fun with it!

Uhh...if that's the case, then gamers shouldn't complain if the game sucks. Just cause developers take a longer time at releasing a game doesn't give pirates the right to steal it, or feel like the developers owes you. Sorry if I might have missed your sarcasm but this sort of thing does hurts the game developers.

be sure to install latest video drivers, I did and now im able to play with ultra details and 1024 resolution. It helped A TON

my friends had doom 3 for 2 days now, hes been upstairs playing it on my projector all night. that game is pretty freaky when your up there all alone on a projector and some guy comes out of nowhere, especially with surround sound. if my computers were good enough for the game i definitely would of bought it tho, the people who made it deserve it, its a sweet game.

Yes, the sound is supposed to be awesome, except it's run through your CPU and not your Sound Card. Which means all the people who spent $$$ upgrading their sound are SOL. It would almost be the equivalent of them running the graphics through your CPU only, just after you spent $500 on the newest graphics card.
