gaim. started using it almost two years ago, and i've never looked back. handles aim, msn, icq, yahoo, and irc, and isn't quite as flashy and annoying as trillian.

Is there any program that would be able to do this? I'm just sick of AOL and all the crud you have to put up with to use their awful messenger.

I highly doubt AIM Today gave you a virus . Someone probably clicked ona link in someones profile/away message that links to a trojan.

Any AOL sponsored websites will be virus free.
