The "School Starts on Monday morning and i am so F'ed" Thread

I'm going to be a junior. We start September 1st here,

30th for me... and the oh so fun friday 6 straight hour class of lab time, oh joy.. atleast I get tuesday free.. for now

I go back the 30th. Sophmore year. It's supposed to be a pretty easy year, but English is supposed to be nasty, and it helps that i've always hated English with passion.

I'm ready to go back for the social part, since I don't get to talk to a lot of my friends over the summer, but i'm never in the mood to get back into taking tests, doing homework, and all the other stuff we love about school. The good part is, after you've gotten adjusted to it again, which usually take a few weeks for me, the year seems to fly by like no other.

Our school starts on a friday, how messed up is that? Couldn't they have waited that extra 3 days to start it on a Monday?

Our school dress code sucks, mainly because girls' shorts and skirts have to go past their fingertips. :sigh:

And the really messed up thing is we can have only 5 unexcused absenses the ENTIRE year. The district wanted to make the attendance rules the same for k-12, it sucks so bad. Our school is really strict about skipping, we have to go to the office and get a pass JUST to get something from our cars. We have to sign out in the office and then the doors just to leave school, and you have to have a good reason too. Closed campus isn't very fun either.

Well, had my first day back today, it was cool seeing friends again, my schedule is ok, but I have a real easy day, then I have a harder day. Just hope this year goes by fast, so I can get to summer again, then become a senior, get highschool over with.

I start on the 30th of this month. On the one hand, I have had more fun this Summer than any point in the rest of my life. On the other hand, I'm going to be a senior this year, and I plan on making the most of my last year as a HS student.

HAHA, last year, my senior year, i left school 32 times, and got caught once or twice. I would just be like "eh, i dont feel like being here" and just walk to my car and leave. I also had 19 unexcused abscenses
