They are not going to produce this car and yes they are going to produce the gt. My local dealership has two of them on order.

GT owns it because it actually exists...

It's ok to be anti "whatever" but unless it's a moral issue it's not ok to voice the anti-ness, unles you are expecting an argument. I found that out a while back too....so unless I'm looking for an argument, I just voice my opinions at all.

Whats does the GT have that it doesn't?
Fords specs:

I would LOVE to see Chrysler to put out a car with those specs. For one thing, the speed would be governed to way below that top speed. I dont think they can even afford to build a car with those specs and compete with ford. Those are specs you would see in a million dollar car, like the McLaren F1s.

I can guarentee you those are not production numbers.

It may be a million dollar car. They are considering producing 20 a year at 1 million each, or a few hundred at a lower price. Even if they don't make a whole lot of money off the car which they probably won't it does alot for their image. People will see this thing, or hear that Crysler makes the fastest street car and will go look at other Crysler products.

I don't think they have to govern it that much, i'll bet they could get away with atleast 160 and even then how hard is it to get rid of the governer? Its a matter of making a small modification to a chip or whatever the car has. I also doubt that anyone who just spend a million dollars on a car is going to be driving it that fast.

the ME 4-12 has been known for quite a while now, but is still a very sweet proto in my eyes. i would buy that thing just to hear what 4 turbos sound like . i bet the blowoff is deafening!

Or... it's possible that CHRYSLER might want to take a stab at LeMans. This is the kinda of production car that could do it.

If they make it? Limiter over 200mph, or no limiter. It's a supercar, people will drive it fast, or try to.

I don't know about that, there are a decent amount of lamborghinis, Ferraris, Vipers, Porsches, etc around here and I have yet to see anyone driving one fast.

Is the SLR a definate or just a concept?
They have alot of work to do to get that SLR up to the same specs as the four-twelve. I wouldn't imagine that they would be to concered about it. I've heard about 350k for the slr compared to the million for the 4-12, or even if chyrsler brought down the price I would guess a minimum 500k.

McLaren will be doing the production, I'd say it's a bit farther on than the ME 4-12. Even if neither of them have prices yet.

I know neither of them do, I was just going by what a few minutes of reaserch yeilded for estimated prices
Want to take bets that the 4-12 will be more expensive than the SLR assuming both of them are made?

They would also need to pull another 300hp or so out of somewhere which I think would require a decent amount of work at this point but maybie they will.
