CHinese food stores

Any1 live next to a Chinese food store? Ah, they really smell pretty bad don't they? I dunno what they are doing with what to make it smell that bad. It smells like poop abd dead fish from like 20 feet away from the place, and theres this creepy old chinese guy inside there doing something in a gaintt medal bowl every morning. Anyone else know any other creepy chinese food stores?

EHhh we don't have stinky chinese restaurants over here. Everyone seems to live with it fine. I never heard of "stink chinese restaurants". But asian restaurants have been known to be quite filthy and unsanitary.

Yea, them damn KNOCK IT OFF or YOU WILL BE ON A 3 DAY VACATION! ... Smelly mo fos. And what about them mayonaisse people??? Damn, they are slimey. White bread = death. And coco puffs... oh, don't get me started there...

At least your local store doesnt serve roadkill! A store near here was shut down because the owner was serving roadkill, not chicken.

its kinda funny when i was in china, i'd eat in these places where the mother was cooking the food in this one huge pot that everybody eat out of while sitting on the floor. and it was pretty dam good

The one time we spulrged and went to a "fancy" restaurant, I was vomiting for a week

i dont mind chineese places, i actually love the food, i could careless what its made of, i always go in to the local buffet and joke with my friends and call the teryacki(sp?) chickin "rat on a stick"

its some good stuff though.

I personally think rotting animals or sun-baking poop are some of the worst smells out there...

On that note...

I was chasing my dog yesterday (who was running after mice in the yard) trying to keep him from getting muddy. I wasn't wearing shoes and I completely stepped in, slipped on, and almost fell because of a fresh pile of poo. It was pretty nasty...

On the subject of smelly people and cultures... well, I think everyone has a smell that they classify as "normal or nothing". Your normal and theirs might be different. Only smell I don't find acceptable is BO or something like that.

I've been in those stores. Sometimes they smell bad, but they usually had some wierd delicious candy there for sale too!

omg chinese stores OWN !!! my dad's GF got me a dim sum cook book for christmas, and on new years day (western new year, NOT chinese new year) we went to a chinese store to get the stuff and make them for dinner that night. I swear i was the only white guy in there, but i loved the store. They were selling all sorts of things i had never see before, and they had a little restraunt area buit in too, which sold some damn good chow fun and BBQ pork.

Uhh, are you talking to me? Any event I'm not "knocking people". I'm talking about chinese restaurants(prefereably corner stores). Theres no intent of racism any where to be found in my starting thread. And as for people smelling bad, we'll thats up to there personal higiene.

Well, when you single out a particular race of people and mention negative things about them... it tends to take a racist note. This was my only point, and yes, my comment was meant for you. When I was in NY, I went to some chinese resteraunt, and one of the things on the menu was "stewed assorted meat." I found the assorted part of it to be hilarious, but kinda nasty at the same time. I ended up getting some kinda pork. It was pretty good, but I don't think it was pork(I'm with the guy that said they don't care what it is as long as it's good).
