got my schedule for senior year!

I am in Middle School, (YEs I am young) But, we got this weird schedule because we are sorta a Jock School, so I really only have 3 classes a day, it consists this semester of

Social Science
Science
Band
Lunch
Ag
PE/HomeEc
And a 90 minute Study Hall, My mom is a teacher, so I go and sit in her room since they dun let me go home

Its all good, They are sorta messed up, Second Semester, I got Math and English instead of SS and science

all i care about is that i got my 3 years of spanish out of the way, so i'm done with the foreign language scene. my schedule now consists of..

pretty easy year all in all, got my other classes outta the way last year w00t.

Here is my Junior schedule
1: Faith and Catholic Values (I hate going to a catholic school)
2: Document Processing
3: 20th Century (I love this teacher, he is the flipping coolest)
4: Algebra 2/ Trigonometry (I am so screwed, my friends will have to carry me through this class)
5: Ecology (easy)
6: Ap Writing (This teacher is also awsome, it helps that I love to write I guess)
7: Latin (this is the first year they are offering this class, I've always wanted to learn latin, so I guess this is a good time to start. I already have 2 years of french behind me. Plus the priest that teaches it is only like 22. He is younger than my brother, lol. He's a riot though, great guy.
8: Study Hall (woohoo, this means for finals I can leave school early!!)

Second Semester

3: Algebra 2/ Trigonometry
4: Economic Issues
5: Ecology 2
6: Phy Ed 2 (required, and we don't even get to play paintball, although I have taken the teacher paintballing before)

My scholl sucks, we don't have any drawing classes, no computer software or hardware classes, and barely and hands on classes.

Slacking your senior year is stupid. I'm sorry to say this, but good luck getting into a good college. And if you do get accepted to a good school, they will not like your senior schedule. They do defer people during their senior year. I would suggest jumping into a few more classes. You don't have to fill all 8 periods, but don't slack off like that. Colleges will dump you in an instant.

You guys don't have to go to school if its a free period? Thats crazy, the only way we can do that is if we're in Co-Op, and even then you only leave half a day, go to work, and have enough credits to pass...

I dont know what my schedule is but I know what classes I have this year (Junior). I hate my school they make me take useless classes I dont wanna take. Then they tell me what classes I cant take based on my grades.

1: Gym
2: AP Bio
3: Morality (Waste of time Catholic School BS)
4: British Lit
5: Classics
6: Pre Cal
7: Some retarded filler class like Advanced Health or Advanced Morality
8: AP US history (I took this because it was either AP or reg US history and if I took reg they would make me take US history senior year anyway)

Study Hall, I havent had that since 6th grade back up in NY, down here in the south, no such thing as study hall. I have a free period, where I leave school and go home at 12:15 every other day .

If all goes well up here in NY I might be joining you in FL which would be hot .

1st hour: Algebra 2
2nd Hour: Digital Design
3rd Hour: English
4th Hour: American Sign Language 2
5th Hour: Marine Biology
6th Hour: Free Period
7th Hour: American History

I only have 4 classes a day, because of block scheduling, but they are 1 hour, 40 min each class, except for 1st hour which is only 50 minutes.

First period free would be awesome if I could drive and come in late on my own, but since I don't have a car (or a parking spot) I have to come in early and just sit around in the morning.

they are changing things in colleges if they dont like your grades or schedules lack of grade giving they may start you on academic probation, etc.

that said the only required classes for senior year for me are:
Calculus and Discrete Math (i did pre-calc in junior year you wusses)
Humanities (english class)
Physics (not really required but its "required")

that being said because i got kicked out of the tech academy i need to change my schedule and it will be something like this:
Automotive I and II
Chemistry II
and maybe programming, and some kind of social studies
then PE 1st and 3rd quarter and Health second quarter and study fourth quarter.
