ugh... I dislike the summer olympics. Some of the events shouldn't be events at all. Track and Fields, swimming, diving and a few others fit but synchronized swimming/diving, soccer, field hockey just don't impress me much. Gymnastics is all right but boring. Only Olympics I watch are the Winter games.

I agree with you on some of the sports, but I think soccer and field hockey should stay. I think run-walking should be kicked out to make room for paintball

This girl that goes to my school made the cut for some event in the olympics. Some swimming event. Its really neat. Her name is Amada Weir, in case you see her name.

A rising senior at our high school is the USA karate captain. The kid's insane... I've seen many a time somebody walk up to him and just kick him in the stomach, he doesn't even bat an eye.

Anyway I watched. It was kind of ADD-inspiring, listening to 4 hours of Bob Costas, but I made it. Now to watch the ROWING!!!! w00t w00t

I swear someone make my life happier and shoot bob costas! He's a great way to ruin something, by talking through it. Don't get me wrong I know he is an announcer and he is supposed to talk, but he said some of the stupidest things I have heard in a long time

That's how I feel everytime I watch a football game with John Madden. Forces me to hit the mute button almost every game.

I was on the floor at work when I saw part of the opening ceremony where there were runners holding sticks and floating through the air by guidewires and two things came to mind, "This has to be the most stupid thing I have ever seen and the world is going to end if people are actually watching this for entertainment."
