Are Long Url's aceptable now days. I know in the past trying for abreviations were the thing but say im starting a large paintball website Ring and am looking to use a semi long url for example would be the state name then 14 letters after that.

long urls are a bit annoying but if u use the copy paste it dont really matter........$$...........$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I would say that a "long" URL would be ok, because if I was going to go to your site enough that typing in a long url got to be annoying I would make it on my favorites list so it was only a single click.Comment
