Freedom is not pretty

It is great to be able to have this discussion.

Freedom in our country is not pretty to some of us anymore, but that is freedom in the pursuit of happiness.

The constraints on freedom are laws that are passed by the officals we elect. Yeah I know, same old hacked phrase, but do you vote in every school, municiple, county, state, and federal election? Do you know what you are voting on? If you don't sit down and shut up....sheep.

The US military has always gone out of its way to target only that which is strategic, or an obstacle to the ultimate goal of rendering the enemy inoperative and ineffective. Yes, alot of crap was getting blown up in the video, but that crap was being used by the bad guys, the same bad guys who would not think twice about cutting off you baby sisters' head, JUST because she is American.

War sucks, but the US does all it can to avoid conflict. Don't believe the leftist rhetoric, look up the facts yourself. We gave Saddam 12+ years to comply with 17 UN resolutions. Nearly every one of those resolutions authorized force to impliment. The murders of Sept 11 only put the final notice on the doors of Americas enemies, that the US will not turn any more cheeks. We have resolved to keep our own future, one that isn't forced on us by fanatics and terrorists. If some yellow bastard has a problem with that, then he/she should just go away from here and be with those pukes that wish us all dead.

Me? Screw'em. They live by the sword, they shall die by my rifle. I have NO compunction in killing those that did not hesitate to kill me, or any American....simply for BEING American. The war on terrorism has nothing, and everything to do with Sept 11. So it doesn't matter that we are in Iraq, fighting Jihadists and murderers. We have gone to war with those who have chosen to kill Americans, and THAT is the bottom line.

Learn the true facts before you "feel" your opinion. Emotions have no place in actuality. This war is about our survival, and don't you believe otherwise. Call it the new Crusades if you will, for that is just what it is. The world was forced to battle the Islamic hordes and drive them back to their own homes once before, and it looks like we have to do it again. There is NO "living with" Islamic fanatics, since they want you as dead as their version of the Koran says so. There is reasoning, there is no negotiation, there is no compromise, there is only YOUR death that will make them happy.

The war in Iraq wasn't about WMD's, or freedom, or 9/11. It was proving to the world the the Unites States would not sit idle while countries blatently violate the terms of their surrender. Until the very end, Sadam, and the Arab population as a whole figured the US was too soft to walk into their country and enforce the terms of Iraq's surrender. They were wrong. The message was clear, and it needed to be deleivered. If you deal with the United States, you will be held accountable to the terms of that deal. If deadly force is implicated, deadly force will be used. WMD's, Sadam, 9/11, and Iraqi freedom was all icing on the cake.
