That first sentence made little to no sense. Here's a little news flash for you though: the team with the second highest payroll in baseball is, you guessed it, the Boston Red Sox. I find it pretty funny that the Red Sox fans always use that argument too. I don't know of ANY professional athelete that plays for free.

Here's a difference I've noticed between the Yankees and the Red Sox: The Red Sox were celebrating, spraying champagne all around when they clinched a playoff spot (even before the division was decided). When the Yankees clinched the playoff spot, what was their reaction? They said their work wasn't done, and they wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than winning the division.


I guess what I'm trying to say is, this year during the ALCS game 7, last inning, with the score tied and 2 outs, it'll be someone like Miguel Cairo that hits the walk off HR, instead of Aaron Boone.

Well I was originally gonna say the Dodgers but after watching the games the last couple days I've had serious doubts. I think the Cardinals have got a tough line up and I feel they will go a long way, if not all the way.

In the American league- Angels are gonna fall in 3. Their only chance of winning was if they won 1 in Anaheim. Twins seem to be stronger then I first realized but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Red Sox will make it to the series but the curse will win.

World Series- St Louis vs Boston w/ St Louis winning in 6.
