    Anyone else like classic rock?

Im bored and for the longest time this question have been bothering me, "I wonder how many people llike classic rock on AO?". Anyhow, is there anyone else on these forums that like classic rock like the Talking Heads, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Lynard Skynard, Rush, Queen, Black Sabbath, and other bands like those?

I went through a phase a few years ago where I was really into Zeppelin, Sabbath, and the doors and bands like that. Never liked Skynyrd, and ACDC is WAYYY too over rated, but that is my opinion.

Talking Heads are not 'classic rock'. They're new wave/post-punk.

I like every band you listed, plus many more. I grew up listening to classic Rock (it wasn't "classic" then). My musical tastes are all over the board, but oddly nothing really sticks out as good music recently. Most of you youngin's will probably laugh, but the one band that I think kicks arse right now is Jet. They have a very classic sound.

Well they came from that era, and some of their stuff I could see being classified as post-punk, oh well. Maybe Im just thinkin wrong.

Talking Heads are neither Post-Punk, or New Wave. They are art pop/punk. They are right up there with Ramones and Blondie.

I've always loved the Stones and the Velvet Underground, but ACDC is probably my fav.

I've also always hated Rush with a passion few have equaled

While all my friends are listening to rap, I'm listening to Guns & Rose, AC-DC, Rollingstones, Eagles ( ), Zepplin ( ), Areosmith ( ), all the good stuff.

It's even more fun when you play guitar/drums, then you can play along to the song.
