i heard from my local news (who knows how reliable that is...) that the second plane set off some sort of a hijack alarm or something to that degree. anyone hear anything like that?

supposedly they went down within minutes of each other. cnn is saying it was probably a sort of fuel problem, since they both use the same fuel company, ect.

The Boston Globe said the first plane went down at around 10:56 PM and the second around 11:00 PM. It also brought up the point that Chechen rebel fighters may have hijacked the planes to affect the upcoming southern Chechnya regional elections. Honestly though, it could be any number of things.
