Video Hosting Questions

I have a website that I toy around with in my free time. Nothing fancy, just a basic HTML code. I am pretty good with setting up tables, buttons, pics, etc. Basically I know my way around the HTML codeing pretty well. Once I get better at using Adobe Photoshop I can make the site much better. Since Adobe Photoshop is a fairly complex software program and I am new to it, in addition to the time it takes to edit images its just a fairly plain site for now.

Two questions.

1. This is the most important one. Could someone please let me know how to host movies on my site? Basicaly I want to know what you do, including how it appears in your source code, so that I can post a link and a mpeg or avi format video will automatically open in Windows Media Player (etc).

I currently use Dreamweaver as my sites editing program.

2. Not the main focus of this, but any help on this would be nice. Could I please get some help with using Adobe Photoshop 7.0? What is the best way to learn to use the program, as in how all the different buttons work, what they do, what tools to use and how to use them for each purpose. Right now I have a basic grasp of the program, I can create simple buttons and do minor editing. I understand the "basic" layer uses and how they work. Basically please let me know of any good sites or tutorials that are not made for the complete idiot. I don't want a tutorial that assumes that I don't even know how to open or close the program.

To answer question one I need a bit more info. Are you trying to get the movie to play on the page? Or are you trying to just setup a link to a movie where when it's clicked on it will play in the users default media player?

I could spend a few moments with you in Photoshop as well... I guru out on Photoshop, one of my favorite programs of all time. There are some other guys around here that are kick *** at photoshop as well.

Thanks for replying. I want to set up a link on my page so that when someone clicks it, it will open in a default player. I know how to put the movie on my server (just like with music and images), but I don't know how to write it into the page as a link. Basically I need to know what ro do, and what the source code looks like for that part.

And thanks for the offer on photoshop, I will get ahold of you. By the way, this is Sac's/Drew's friend (he just bought a Frag Mag from you for his dad). I am the one that is interested in building that mag with the dollara body. I was at his house the other day when he was asking you about the X valve prices.
