A friend of mine got a tattoo on his butt because of a dare. It's a golf flag with the number 19 on it coming out from his butthole. No other tattoos even compare.

Personally, I have two and I would never get sick of them. They are a part of me. They don't mean anything, cuz they are just tribals, but I think they look awesome! Be very selective. You should LOVE the tat you are going to put on your body...not just..."oh, it would be OKAY"
That said, from an artistic perspective, the first tat has no flow...no beginning and no end. I could see if it were to be some sort of tribal creature with an added face and tail...maybe that would help. If you like the design tweak it...maybe take it to a tattoo artist and see if they can create something from it....a good artist may be able to.
