    Something I've always wondered...

    I've always wondered this but I've never had a mic for my PC, so mabey someone would help...

    If you say a word that's spelled the same backwards ad forwards(i.e. Racecar, Kayak, Bob, mom, dad, etc) then reverse it, does it sound the same? I've always wondered this, but I'm bored out of my mind right now, so I figure'd I'd ask...

      Well they spell the same thing when rearranged backwords... Its common sense right? You don't really need a mic to prove it for yourself right?

          I would assume not. The first and last Cs in racecar are pronounced differently.

              No, they don't sound the same. Think about this:
              RACECAR
              The first A is pronounced like it is in Ace. The second is like it is in Apple. Like the guy above me said, the first C is like an S in Serpent. The second one is more like a K in Kaye (). Plus, just because 2 things sound the same forewards doesn't mean they will sound the same backward.
