Oooh, purty. I love classic Mustangs. I'm thinking a 66 is the next one I'll restore. I'll probably get a convertible this time. :)

Here's mine nothing fancy. 2000 chevy impala with all the factory stuff except power seats and dual zone air. Once i get my income tax i'am getting new rims. Best thing about it is when i'am flying down the parkway people get out of the way of the big white car real fast :)

*Golf*, not Gulf. What are the numbers from your lumina? have you had it dynoed? What the specs to be exact?

haven't had it dynoed yet. I run a solid 14.44 1/4 mile though. Stock it's 210 HP, after my simple mods it's realistically pushing 230hp.

geez! Is that the LQ1 3.4L V6?? If so that motor has some sick potential my dad said!! He is a chevy god and knows all about those cars. I gotta take some HI Res pics of his vette with my new digital camera. You would drool all over your keyboard if you saw it. Lemme see if I can get some and upload them to my website.

The engine is capable of something like 400 hp without any type of forced induction. Just adding the MSD High Pro fuel injectors is a 50hp gain! Too bad the kit costs an astounding $2000. Then just add a higher lift cams, and you're there. When GM had originally designed the motor, it's stock output was 280 hp, but, the boys over at Hydra Matic and Getrag couldn't build a transmission that could take that stress (being front wheel drive an all). So, they cut it back to 210.

You dad has a vette? What year? My pop has a 96 ZR-1.

OMG that is friggin awsome! I WANT THAT ENGINE!! heheh!! Think it will fit in a Jetta?? hahah! j/k

Yeah my dad has the 1967 Stingray 427ci big block! GM says its 435HP but its really around 480hp stock (thats at the crank of course). The car is being painstakingly restored by my dad, he is the 2nd owner of it, and has owned it for almost its whole life. He has GM's racing cam in it and had the block shaved, so the compression is around 13:1!!! Almost diesel! haha, so its pushing over 500hp right now, but we havent gotten it dynoed yet, we will by summertime. It has of course the infamous "6 pack" carburator. The engine runs on the front 2 until you whomp on the pedel, then when the revs get about 4500 the other 4 carbs are vacuum operated and they open up, then the engine just SCREAMS!!!!! It feels like a damn rocket engine strapped to you, your head whips back and your gone! LOVE IT!! LONG LIVE CHEVY!!!!!! :) :) :) If your ever in the south jersey area stop on over and I will gladly take you for a ride!!! :)

                        AND YOUR DAD HAS A ZR-1!!! NICE!! :) :)
