i did for 4 years but quite for paintball.

now i'm going back

looking in to the new 05 trx450r

i mud bog race with my buds i own a Yamaha Big Bear 400 on comand 4x4(the 4x4 is always needed)

but i also play paintball so my gun is almost done upgradeing so i have more money to put into my four wheeler! all i want to buy is 28" tires, new rims, gorilla axels, gorilla lift kit (or someother huge *** lift kit) and by next year i'm gonna start doing more profeshoinal mud bog races. i'm not a sport person except for the motocross track i ride at

no i know him rode his old atv

i know his is faster and can jump better

Ill be gett a YFZ 450 in bout 3-5 weeks or as soon as the new yellow and black ones come out

i use to race a Leager 330R..now it just sits behind my house..my Advice is this-if your looking for speed,Get a 400Ex,bore it to a 440, or send it to duncan, If you want suspension,get a kit from Leager or East Coast ATV..Combination of both, Pick up a leager 250R frame,250R motor,bore it to a 330,and your set.

What type of racing are you planning on doing? jw

Ive TT raced on quads and a lil dirt track. I like TT more cus ya get to go faster on some of the larger tracks but jumps on dirt tracks kick ***. Id recomend the yfz450 over the 450r. Its just faster, lighter, and handles better than the 450r. The 450r is a great quad though. Ive stopped racing and ive went to duning with my quad. I just got a DS 650 Baja X and its a beast. Fast as heck and you can land any jusp w/o bottoming out the suspension (within reason that is lol).

Ya my Cuz has a 01 DS650 and yes its a beast and would be a great dune quad but there are no dunes anywhere close to me so im just gonna go with the faster yfz450

Those YFZs are amazing machines but just not quite my thing. I like sheer power and thats why i bought a DS650 Baja X. Its amazing, i can beat pretty much any stock quad on the dunes. With a full rotax engine kit on it ill be pretty close to unstoppable bwahahahaha.

ya dude thoughs baja 650's are sweet!!! i want to do a baja race on one of thoughs. I useto ride my friends Suzuki Z400 and i can say that thing was soo fast and soo sweet. we raced 400ex's and beet em. i do wanna buy a 350r or a 660 my bud owns a Raptor 660

Believe me ya cant go wrong with a Baja X. The older ones were hard to ride on trails because of there huge wheel base but they shortend it and stuff but its still more of an open area quad. I used to own a raptor but i sold it to by the Baja X. Raptors are great quads all around, i mean you can do just about anything with em. My uncle has one with a 727 kit on it and it friggin hauls ***. You can get raptors for relativly cheap now to, around 3 grand for a decent one.

Preds have great handling but as far as speed, well, they lack in it. Why are you getting an arctic cat? Polaris makes the best snowmobiles out there. Im running a modified an 800 polaris (i race, just in case you were wondering why i ad an 800) and ive hit 140 and havnt even topped it out yet. Polaris 500 are nice, both my brther and dad have one.
