Hey, I have a report coming up, and I need some help. I need to do a report on democrats vs republicans, and i dont know crap about either. ALTHOUGH if they made a webpage tha i could find this stuff out on, i wouldent be asking you.

Democrats believe that the world is an inherently good place, everyone is good, everyone will do the right thing, and the government is going to do a better job of running your life than you.
Republicans believe that the world is an inherently bad place, everyone is bad, not everyone will do the right thing, and the government is a crappy way to get things done.
At least, that's my POV in a nutshell...
