    My newest old toy

This is my new baby, a Marantz 4300 series quad amplifier. She's taking the place of my well used 2245 series. My 2245 wasn't powerful enough to run my JBL Studios and my Marantz speakers so i upgraded to the 4300. Went from an underrated 45 watts per channel to an underrated 100 watts per channel. And of course with Marantz the sound clarity and quality is unmatched. Needless to say i'm pleased. Got her for only 188 which is a steal.

Anyone else here collect and use classic audio?

Got it off ebay actually. The guy said that he picked it up at an local estate and that it was being sold as is. When i got it it would barely play but after cleaning the channels and replacing a Cap, it was as good as new. And 1ofakind if you threw one away years ago i feel sorry for the money you missed out on. Depending on what one it was, even broke it could fetch hundreds of dollars.
