now, I used to enter that code all the time. I think it was an old Nintendo game, but I can't for the life of me remember which one...

I remember you had to do it all really really fast, during one particular part of the game's introduction, and oddly enough my thumbs still remember how to do it... but I can't remember why...

the code everyone knows! didnt they use it in a couple sonic games way back on the genesis too? (amongst hundreds of other games probably lol)

Yeah, I think I saw them as a feature on a show...they make punk music with video game themes...but yeah...contra. As for using it on other games like Sonic...not too sure since I'm positive that code was a Konami specific code. I'm sure the Sonic team could have come up with a different code.

Not really, but came close. It was UP, UP, UP, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. That was for Sonic & Knuckles.

oh sweet mary, the time i would spend at mortal kombat will never be returned to me. holy crap i remember entering cheats so fast my fingers started to wilt backwards. then one day, i forgot the code to use the animality! i search for years, and could never find it. someone tell me!!!

i used to allways put that kode in for one of those mini games. i lived that game i hate the new onces that are out now. i hate them with a passion. the game to own is the triligy. it has all of the people in the first 3 i love it!!

Ya that was the 'konami code' first used in contra but it became so popular other games used it lol

Mortal Kombat blood code for genesis i think...and the "sweat code" for snes. or maybe somethingn like it? I dont remember.

its known as the Konami code. Alot of Konami nes games used that same code.
