few comments on G-mail.

Someone already has my username.. wtf? I have this username on 6 forums and 3 e-mail clients already and someone copied it.. grrr that ruined my day

how do you get invites?

when is the beta testing over?

Are they going to charge once it's over?

Now that I've gotten to look at the whole G-mail thing I don't understand why it's so great? ( no offence to baked cookies ) I just though there was something super terific about it but it's just a e-mail client... with alot of space. I do appresiate baked cookie letting me has a invite, but I really wish I could give it to someone else now instead. I suppose you can't change the actuall address either huh?

I suffere from a individualistic problem. I think to be identified by examples of uniqeness. ie my username. I never though someone would steal it from me Now I don't feel special anymore

yea, its not that special. but, itll be good when they get the POP3 stuff going so you can use outlook or thunderbird or something. i dont like using my browser to check my mail. its only real pro is the gig of space they give you.

Second, 1GB.
Third, It's organized
Fourth, Spellcheck

The best part about it is that it incorporates the Google search engine into the mail client. This means that you can easily find any mail you have stored in your archive folder very easily since we all know that Google has the best search algorithym (sp?) of all time

its a beta of google's email service. not that special cept that they give you 1 gig of storage space, and it is pretty easy to use.
