Is there anyway to get video from my Sony Handycam to my laptop? Im thinking some kind of adapter cord that can transfer the video? Thanks in advance :)

If it's a Digital-8 or Mini-DV cam you just plug in the fire wire cable. If it's just a normal VHS, VHS-c, or 8mm then you can use a video capture device such as the cheap but affective Digital Video Creator 80 (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/ProductPa...27&Langue_ID=7). They make more advanced models for more money, but this does a good entry level job. It's simple to use not bad quality.

That's assuming he has firewire on his laptop. I dont think I have Firewire, I have a Dell Inspiron 1100? Mabye I do, not big on computers and stuff
