I was more interested in the PM things using AO to do that and the ones using IM links here to gain thier IM info... that would and does concern me. No ones ever abused it before. New rules are written when they deam to be nessicary. One does not bother until they do. So for now I am just hopeing he gets the message that people are irritated by it and that he has overstepped the bounds of decency and patience is wearing thin. But if need be we will consider it to be annoying and intrusive and keep the access of those IM and PM's he is using away from him. I don't think I need to explain or justify that to anyone after a point where members complain and its intrusive to the site.
I am a bit weirded out over this G mail thing too. I did some reading up on it the other day. It does indeed seem and is a legit service but I wonder at this sudden influx of "invitations". It was my understanding it was in a Beta trial and people were limited. Now it seems like any tom, richard and harry got them! And it almost seems like some sort of Pyramid scheme doesn't it? I am about to rethink my so far lenient stand on them. I might consider them duplicate threads real soon if they do not drop off. Again another sort of interpretation of rules you are forced to implement as needed to keep down on the clutter. Unless the problem goes away on its own.
