Whats with all the G-mail invite threads?

Why do we need more than one? Can everyone not post in the original gmail invite thread?

That one got REALLY cluttered with all the people asking for invites, if they cleaned it up and said only post if you have some to give, PM to ask for them, it would have been a little neater in my mind.

I didn't do it to be "cool", I did it because I had 6 invites sitting there (which were gone in a few minutes) and I couldn't give them to any of my friends (all computer illiterate). That and the fact there is a metric crapload of people on AO who want GMail accounts. You might love your EMail provider, but alot of people don't *coughhotmailcough* and that is where the invites to GMail come in.

I don't mind hotmail, I just hate the fact that microsoft got their paws on it...

I agree. I have stuck the official thread up top. Please use it...

Please keep them to one thread. Before I have to go to all the trouble to combine them all or delete some of them.
