Need some cat help... quick

Basically, I need to train my cat to use a litterbox so she dosn't crap all over my floor when I bring her in so she dosn't get mauled my the hurricane. She's an outside cat since my moms allergic to cats and my dad dosn't really like them, but I don't her to get thrown at a tree at 100MPH.

Anybody have any suggestions? I know with rabbit's, you just cage them in the litterbox till they go a few times in it, then they'll always go there. Are cats the same way?

It is pretty much instincts for cats to use the litter box. But in the case the cat doesn't then you just plop the cat in if it looks like it's gonna drop a doodie.

i was always told to lock in a small area with the box in it. i threw my cat in his bax and was like, poop here, of get the hatchet, and he poos is the box less some never changes it, and runs out of room.

the cat will go where it sees fit, make sure you have no other places that resemble a box with sand in your house.

since shes an outside cat she already always goes anywhere where she can dig in dirt/sand, so just show her the litter box and she should use it if she cant get outside. just make sure you cover up your zen sand garden
