what motor is in it, V8 doesn't tell me much, they put 2 different v8's in those trucks, the 305 and the 350.

if the plow comes with it maaaybe its worth 5, but you have to figure it was used as a plow truck wich means it has been worked alot (plowing is tough on the transmission)
8k is way to much for it.

It's really hard to tell without an inspection. Don't take the 82,000 miles at face value. It all depends on the type of miles (hwy, short trips, off-road, etc.) and doesn't take into account idling time. Taxi cabs usually require major overhauls by 80K because of the nature of the work that they do. Not to say that the truck was used that way, but you get the idea. Also, I wouldn't touch it without the 5.7. Those 5 liters really sucked the big one!

does it have a mount for a blade? 80K miles with a blade and that thing is toast. It's common for ppl to use a truck in the winter exclusilvy for snow pushing. They don't rack up miles very fast, but the miles they have are 4 times as hard on the truck. Same with a hitch, have they been pulling anything, you can usually tell by the markings, if there's little or alot of rust etc. If they've been pulling a camper accrost the globe it's not at great of a deal either. Listen to the exaust and, sometimes it's obvious sometimes it's subtle, but you can tell if the engine is tired. Take it for a drive and floor it, see if it can do that to 60to t est the tranny. Buying a truck is alot of knowing what you're looking for.

Indeed a '94 gasser plowing truck is not worth 8k. In fact if it hs been used for alot of plowing I wouldnt bother with it at all.

I wouldn't buy a used plow truck. Unless it was extremely cheap and you need a plow truck. Plowing is extremely hard on a vehicle.

...also.... that looks like a 1/2 ton truck? If so then it was never rated for a plow.

ok well i'm going to call the former owner and see what he used it for and if the plow was no just being moved. but if any one knows were i can fined one for a good price some wat close to me lmk

Well, if you're sure about that then I'd say go for it. Just get it checked over very well by a mechanic you trust. What engine is in it? 5.0 or 5.7? Hopefully the latter.

It certainly is a gorgeous looking truck... very clean. Interior good too? Try and talk the price down a bit, but I'd say it's pretty fair, assuming it's mechanically sound.

it is vary nice from what they say no nicks in the paint. red Interior is clean. bed liner........

2. would get a daoge with a CUMMINS DIESEL [as my ulce work there and dezines them ]
3. gas would be killer for my frist truck as my jobs sucks

Yuo should get a Cummins or Dmax, go big or stay home. But thats quite the leap from like 8 grand to 40.
