You guys think if you fully choped the sword down onto a bullet on a table for example, the sword would go through the bullet and the shell? Or does it have to be traveling at a very high rate of speed? I agree with the softness of the bullet, if you take a regular 9mm bullet and put pressure on the tip you can sort of engrave the lead.

I'm pretty sure if you had some way of accelerating a katana blade accurately to the same speed as the bullet was going in the video, and had a stationary suspended bullet, the blade would cut the bullet in half just as easily as it did in the video.Originally posted by IrelandunfreeYou guys think if you fully choped the sword down onto a bullet on a table for example, the sword would go through the bullet and the shell? History channel just had a show about Katana's. The better ones are folded over 30,000 times. The bullet never had a chance. They should have had a .44 though. Apparently an original sword made back in the glory days of Japan no kinding can fetch a million bucks from what the show said.Comment
