Panthers did not look sharp on defense last night. Farve looked solid.

Yea, The Pack just brought too much to Carolina. They were blitzing on almost every down, bringing a SLB almost every play. The Panthers just werent ready to fend off the rush. Favre had an average day, which is better than 90 percent of the QBs in the league anyway. The new secondary rule didnt have much affect on either teams corners or safetys. Just a good, all around, football game.

...actualy I thought they gave him pretty good protection most of the time. And lets not forget two key interceptions that doomed the scoring drives of the panthers. One of them not the quarterbacks fault. one of them was indeed perhaps rush induced. The panthers had a pretty good rush on Farve but the running game sucsess sort of took them out of that. Overall GB won it by establishing a good to decent ground game. And getting a few key turnovers when the Panthers could not take them out of it by doing the same.

Were just warming up, great game though We are the 6th consecutive team to lose the superbowl and go on to lose the first season game, oh well.
