Is Jerry Springer REAL?

My woman and I were just watching Jerry Springer and debating about whether or not the people on the show are faking it or really have these crazy relationships. We thought that maybe someone in AO land would have some real facts about people on the show. How about it? Anyone know something?

Ya know I have sometimes, I am ashamed to admit it, watched that show and wondered the same thing! Actually I thought;

There is no way that there are real people in the world like that!

There was that one really freaky episode where this FAT and I do mean FAT mom was sleeping with here son because the father had died and she said he was now the man of the family. ACK!

But I guess sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, oh and by the way, is it me or is the clock messed up on the post?

And in Shartley's defense, I often look for his posts on certain topics cause I know that he will make the best determination and present the factual information. He is sort of like AO's "police officer", he enforces the laws we have and, unless the truth is obviously apparent, he makes the best neutral argument. He is certainly an asset to AO and we should take care not to loose him and not to nag him (unless he nags us! )

Can't vouch for anything on Jerry's show, but (and I REALLY hate to admit this) my sister was on Ricki Lake. Topic had to do with dead-beat dads and non payment of child support. They actually had both my sister and her ex as well as video of their son on there. All real info was fought about. A great day for the rest of the family that isn't screwed up....

On a side note, my wife's friend was dating Jerry Springer for a while. Good looking young lady dating a rich old ring-master.

I have actually had two friends that went on the Springer show. Usually on each show, at least the ones with 6 or 7 sets of guests, one of the sets is legitimate, and the other ones are all just saying what Jerry's staff told them to. If you're ever bored sometime call them up. It's a free trip to Chicago, just get ahold of Tom, stop by the factory and invite him to be in the audience.

Steve was featured on an episode of "Cops" some time ago. He's for real, and does the Springer show on his time off. Former Marine too

I have heard that some of it is real, and some of it is fake. I would think that the majority of it is fake . Oh, and Springer is scary...lol
