AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I've used it for about 5 months or so....it's great. Only thing is that some websites still aren't compatible with it. ircspy.com only copies requests in IE
I just downloaded Firefox, and let's just say I won't ever be using IE again. One thing that kinda bugs me, is there any way to make it so that when a link is clicked it opens up as a new tab as opposed to a who new Firefox browser?
Click it with your middle mouse button (probably scroll wheel click)
Yall should check out Avant. It's a shell for IE, you get all the tabbed windows and stuff plus the compatability of IE (since you are still technically running IE). I've tried it all and Avant is where it's at.
i got that firefox thing this past weekend. i like it, but the cursor is too freaking big. if there was some way to reduce its thickness that would be wonderful. but the built in pop up/banner ad blocker works like a champ.
No, Mozilla is not a 'rip-off' of Netscape. Mozilla.org came about in '98 when Netscape decided to go open-source, Mozilla has been the code name for Netscape (and the earlier Navigator browser) for a long time, it is roughly derived from Mosaic (one of the original browsers) Killer.
