You cannot get a rental car. I'm guessing that explorer isn't yours though. Your parents name are on the title and the insurance no? That means your parents can get the rental and they take the rental and you take one of there cars. Or you could drive the rental which may or may not be legal.
If the explorer is yours you tell them you have to get to school and need some form of transportation. Demand that they pay for a taxi both ways every day and every time you feel like going out.

The car is in my dads name, and the insurence is in my moms name but covers me. I guess ill just mooch rides off my frineds for a couple of days till i can get some sort of transportation. Hopefully my dad will jsut let me borrow his jeep, and he'll jsut deal wiht driving his stick 540i around constantl for a lil while.
