Asus V9999 problem

Hi guys,

I'm switching my old Asus GeForce3 with a new Asus V9999 GE (GeForce 6800) and when I turn on my computer, it doesn't boot, the monitor doesn't detect my video card and the mobo's alarm yells...Like it's overheating. Asus didn't provide any instruction, only a little booklet that doesn't tell anything about troubleshooting. I checked on their website but can't find anything.

Here's my specs:

Asus K8V
Athlon 64 3000+
512 Mb Ram
