That's awesome
Maybe I should go out and set my local highest speeding ticket record of all time today
(That's if I had something that could go 200+mph).

Hate to ruin your good fun but I live in Minnesota and yesterday the guy called into a local radio show. He really wasn't doing 205 and his bike even with mods can't go that fast. In the story they clocked him using a stopwatch, which is not very acturate. I have to admit this story is very instresting, but there was no way he was going 205

Its still probably 160+
Silly organ donors.
I laughed when I heard he was a sherrifs kid.

Still 160+ is a long was from 205. I also thought it was fun that he didn't even have a motorcycle license

... and he will prove what if he is able to disprove the speed down to like 160? Not going to disprove wreckless driving.... not going to prove he is anything but an idiot for going 160 + even so without a license.... and he is going to prove nothing even if he does?
If it was me I would want to keep it at 205!!!!!
Not much to gain by going down to 160. Still gonna be the same charge.

It comes out to $330. $215 for the wreckless Driving and $115 for no motorcycle endorsement on his license.
Wreckless driving is normaly (or can be cited at least) anything over 25 mph over the posted speed limit (state by state thing). No matter how much over. It carries the same weight for anything over that magic number. So its no worse to do 160 than it is 205. But sometimes the officer can make a judgement and not cite you for that if its close to the limit. Like for instance your doing 30 mph over only. He might site you for Speeding in excess of 10 MPH over the limit in that case and not wreckless driving. Judgment call on a close to thing. Not possible to do so for something that grosly in excess. Not even at 100 MPH would he do it.Comment

Das right! You go to jail for dat one. The other one is a traffic violation. This ones a serious offense. Driving without regaurd for others safety.Originally posted by Toro216guyDont forget he got arrested!Comment

At this point, I'd be arguing with the judge that I was going 220, not 205...and that "Awesomeness points" can be used to deduct jail time.Comment
