Wow, you guys must never go hunting.

I have friends who hunt all the time and I've seen them do some pretty bad stuff to animals, especially coons.

I don't see why everyone is freaking out over that vid...it's not very "impacting" to me.

Now excuse me while I go make love on my chinchilla rug.

I'm a vegaterian, I don't go around saying "you should be a vegaterian too" or stuff like that. I make my own decisions not yours.

As for PETA, I'm not a supporter, but I do think that stuff that people do to animals is sick, inhumane, and stuff like that.

I however live life by my own decisions, not others, so I'm a happy guy knowing that the vegi meat I ate just saved a chicken. Or that the coat I put on was not fur... blah blah blah.

So you really think that just because you just ate some vegi-meat you saved a chicken?

Guess what people, chickens are slaughtered, cows are slaughtered, pigs are slaughtered, no matter if you eat them or not. These chickens, cows, and pigs were bred for a reason, to be slaughtered. And they will continue to be slaughtered, whether you eat them or not.

So, by not eating the chicken, you are making that chickens whole existence pointless. They died for a reason, to feed your fat-***.

you know what the problem is? humans anthromorphize everything, that's why peta was made. People feel that the animals we eat have a complex range of emotions and though processes when they don't. Most animals live for survival and only for survival. I know there are counterpoints to my arguments, but i really doubt that domesticated animals really need to worry about survival. In our world its survival of the fittest. The grass gets nutrients from the ground, the zebra eats the grass, the lion kills the zebra. The animal world gives no second thought to what they're doing. We're part of that world, we weren't designed to refuse our instincts to eat meat. Vegans have to take vitamin supplments that they could easily get form eating a normal meat based diet. I don't see why people don't just use balance in their life. Eat reasonably, eat some cow, eat some chicken, then go eat some grass too. We're supposed to be balanced that way for our survival. We eat to survive, we don't eat to be philosophical.

The fur coat thing I don't get, I just think it's tacky that people still wear fur coats. Fur coats are just a hedonistic desire now. lol, we don't need them but we still want them.

"The real question is...why do you have fur clothing..."

Every coon hunter has a coonskin cap. I alsom have a fox hat and some mittens made out of muskrat.

Wow, was this fuss all over electricution and snapping the neck?

We used to electricute HUMANS in alabama until recently, so I don't see why that little furry thing needs better treatment.

Snapping the neck isnt that bad for me. I never even knew it bothered people

When i go dove hunting and the shot doesn't completely kill it. I pick it up by the head and swing it around until the head pops off. 3 seconds of pain, isn't a huge deal. Thats if animals even feel pain as we do.

But what about all the pork, beef, and chicken we eat? They get killed everyday.
